Oberursel - Men fail to blow up cash machine
Two men tried in vain to blow up an ATM in the Hochtaunus district early on Tuesday morning. According to the police in Wiesbaden, only the outer casing of the machine in the Oberursel-Oberstedten industrial estate was damaged. The perpetrators fled on bicycles without any loot. There was initially no trace of them. They had injected gas into the vending machine, which was located in front of a games and bowling hall, to detonate it. The police gave no details of the amount of damage.
