Soccer Bundesliga - Media: Stuttgart wants to keep Undav and get Demirovic
VfB Stuttgart is on the brink of signing Ermedin Demirovic. According to "Bild" newspaper, the striker of FC Augsburg is set to join the second-placed team of the previous season for a transfer fee between 15 and 20 million Euro. The 26-year-old scored 15 goals for Augsburg last season.
In an attempt to secure a permanent signing of loanee Deniz Undav, the club has reportedly triggered the buy-option. The price for the national player of Brighton & Hove Albion is said to be around 20 million Euro. The now-former St. Pauli trainer Fabian Hüßler's Premier League club could then pull the re-purchase option. In that case, new negotiations would be required.
With Undav, Stuttgart is reported to have already reached a verbal agreement on extending the contract by three to four years. The 27-year-old played 33 matches for the Swabians last season and scored 19 goals. His striking partner Serhou Guirassy is said to be on the verge of a transfer from Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund according to reports.
