As per the news in the media, Assan Ouédraogo is all set to join the Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig. According to reports by "Bild" and "Sky" on Wednesday, Leipzig have reached an agreement with Schalke 04 regarding a transfer fee totalling ten million euros.

The 18-year-old midfielder is believed to have exercised his release clause and will sign a contract with RB until 2029. A decision on whether he will be immediately loaned out is yet to be made, as mentioned in "Bild's" report.

Ouédraogo was the captain of the German U17 European and World Champions. However, due to multiple injuries sustained in the previous season, he managed to play only 17 games for Schalke, scoring five goals.

Leipzig's website, Twitter, and the Bundesliga squad are all expected to announce the details soon.
