Despite the increased sunshine hours in Offenbach, it still received less sunlight compared to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania during May. The Rain in Schwerin, the capital city of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, might have been a result of the heavy rainfall that contributed to the 80 liters per square meter of precipitation, significantly higher than the average for May. The Solar hour in Offenbach, on the other hand, would not have been affected by the improved weather conditions in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as it solely measures the duration of sunlight in a specific location.
