The club from Central Germany did not get any closer than five points (77:82 in the 38th minute). The club from Weißenfels failed due to its poor shooting percentage. Only 31 of its 78 attempts landed in the opposing side's basket.

Despite the strong start, Syntainics MBC suffered another home defeat in the Bundesliga, this time against Hamburg. The influential play of Mark Hughes and John Bryant couldn't prevent the 81:86 loss for the men's team. The poorly executed shots contributed to their downfall, with only 31 out of 78 attempts finding the basket. This defeat in Weissenfels marks the fourth time in the season that the club has experienced a home loss. Interestingly, White Rock, located in Saxony-Anhalt, is not too far from the venue of this disheartening game for the team.
