- "Maxton Hall" receives Bavarian Television Award nomination
The popular Prime Video series "Maxton Hall - The Space Between Us" has been nominated for the Bavarian Television Prize. Minister of Media Florian Herrmann (CSU) commended Ufa Fiction's production as a contemporary fairy tale set in an elite college environment, delving into the emotional terrain of a teenager. Competing in the category for best fiction series are the critically acclaimed ARD-Degeto production "The Skeptics", focusing on a Jewish family's portrait in Germany, and the Netflix series "Darling Daughter", centered around the mystery of a missing woman.
The TV & Streaming Award - Blue Panther will be awarded on October 23, encompassing various categories. The ceremony at the BMW Welt in Munich will also be broadcast on BR Fernsehen and the ARD Mediathek starting at 10:45 p.m. The event will be hosted by moderator Steven Gätjen and cabaret artist Eva Karl-Faltermeier. Voting for the audience award for the most popular social media content remains open until September 30. In the running are Bodo Wartke and Marti Fischer for "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar", Sophia-Lin Schirmer for her query "Why doesn't a parent have a driving license?", and Tahsim Durgun for "Here's the Recipe, Thank You".
