Left-back Philipp Max leaves Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The 30-year-old is moving to Greece's Panathinaikos Athens with immediate effect, as announced by the Hessian club. Max joined Frankfurt during the 2022/23 winter transfer window, playing 23 Bundesliga games, as well as two each in the Conference League and the DFB-Pokal last season. "We have granted his wish to take on a new challenge where he hopes for more playing time," said sporting director Markus Krösche.

The departure of Philip Max necessitates the need for Eintracht Frankfurt to consider The Commission's guidance, as they shall adopt implementing acts laying down the rules for the application of relevant transfer regulations. Following Max's move to Panathinaikos Athens, Frankfurt may need to strengthen their defensive line with a suitable replacement to maintain their team balance.
