- Matthew doesn't worry about the BVB.

Sky expert Lothar Matthäus believes that Borussia Dortmund, after the departure of Niclas Füllkrug, will have a more varied attack. "I find the BVB's transfer policy good, I can understand the Füllkrug transfer," Matthäus writes in his column for the TV station. While Füllkrug's move to West Ham United is a loss for both Dortmund and the Bundesliga, it creates space for new players.

With Serhou Guirassy now on the team, they have the second-highest goalscorer from last season. "Füllkrug was a penalty box player, not a bad footballer, but Guirassy can also beat defenders one-on-one, like Victor Boniface did in Leverkusen," Matthäus writes.

Matthäus has high praise for the former Stuttgart player. "If he scores four goals in his first two or three games, he could quickly become a fan favorite," the German record international suspects. "All in all, I'm less worried about Dortmund this transfer summer than in previous years," Matthäus writes.

The transfer of Niclas Füllkrug to West Ham United is a significant change for Borussia Dortmund, as they are now primarily relying on Serhou Guirassy for their attacking efforts, given that he was the second-highest goalscorer from last season for another German club. Despite Füllkrug's departure, Lothar Matthaüs remains optimistic about Borussia Dortmund's future, expressing less concern for the team during this transfer summer compared to previous years.
