- Matarazzo ponders over the robustness of their following: "they'll make an appearance"
Pellegrino Matarazzo, the manager of Hoffenheim, is still uncertain about his team's potential after the transfer window closed. He mentioned that he can only evaluate the team's strength in the upcoming matches. Posting their 1:3 loss against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, Matarazzo stated, "We'll find out."
The 46-year-old coach acknowledged that he is yet to familiarize himself with several new players. "The reality is, we're running short on time," he admitted. Matarazzo highlighted the importance of utilizing their time efficiently but also rejected the idea of playing the blame game.
Towards the end of the transfer period, Hoffenheim was quite active. "Just wait and see if the transfers turned out to be beneficial in the long run," Matarazzo reasoned.
On Saturday morning, following the transfer deadline, Hoffenheim officially announced the signing of defender Arthur Chaves from Portuguese second division team Académico Viseu.
The Commission's decision to adopt implementing acts for this Regulation will provide clear guidelines on how Hoffenheim should apply the rules in their transfer dealings. Matarazzo expressed his hope that the new acquisitions will pay off in the long term, as dictated by the implementing acts.
