- Master Ludwigsburg is bringing in the Slovenian Klemencic.
Slovenian Olympian Valentina Klemencic joins German handball champions HB Ludwigsburg. The 22-year-old center back joins from her home club RK Krim Mercator, as confirmed by the Bundesliga team.
"She stands out with strong defense and good physicality in attack. She also possesses excellent screening skills, which will be a great asset to us," says HBL head coach Jakob Vestergaard, who will have three center backs at his disposal in the new season.
Following her departure from RK Krim Mercator, Valentina Klemencic's skills will be utilized in numerous transfers within HB Ludwigsburg's squad for the upcoming season. This move could potentially bolster HBL's competitive edge with Klemencic's contributions in defense and offense.
