Municipality of Heidenheim - Massive Destruction Worth Multiple Millions of Euros in Timber Factory Inferno
In the backdrop of a lumber mill in Gerstetten, a district of Heidenheim, a blaze broke out, causing an estimated loss of multiple millions. According to a police spokesperson, speaking early Sunday morning, two manufacturing units and a wood depot were engulfed by the fire. The firefighters were still battling the inferno at approximately 5 am. The origin of the blaze remained a mystery.
