Marijuana and amphetamine seized in apartment
Police have seized almost five kilos of marijuana and around 30 grams of amphetamine during a search of an apartment in Adlkofen (Landshut district). The investigators also found six growing systems for the narcotics in the apartment, as the police announced on Friday.
The Landshut public prosecutor's office had applied for a search warrant on suspicion of illegal trafficking in narcotics. During the search on Wednesday, a 28-year-old man was provisionally arrested.
The suspect was brought before Landshut district court on Thursday. An arrest warrant was issued for the man. However, according to the police, this was initially suspended subject to conditions.
The seizure of illicit drugs in Adlkofen has sparked concerns about crime in Lower Bavaria. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely to prevent any further illegal activities in this region.
