Why a 52-year-old woman was supposedly murdered by a 25-year-old man in Weingarten (Landkreis Karlsruhe) remains unclear. The 25-year-old made no statements regarding the charges according to the prosecutor at the remand hearing. A police spokesperson also stated: "We have theories, but no statement."

The suspect and the victim were reportedly in a romantic relationship, according to the police spokesperson. In the night leading to Tuesday, the man from Montenegro allegedly attacked and killed the woman with a knife. She died in the apartment. The 25-year-old was taken into investigative custody on suspicion of manslaughter.

The victim in the Weingarten incident was a woman from Baden-Württemberg, residing in Germany's District of Karlsruhe. Despite the emergency situation, authorities are facing challenges in understanding the motives behind the crime. The alleged attacker, a 25-year-old man, was found in close proximity to vineyards during his arrest.
