Mannheim pro Ennis injured in the neck
The Adler Mannheim will have to make do without Canadian ice hockey pro Tyler Ennis for the time being as they make a fresh start after the change of coach. The 34-year-old will miss around seven weeks into the new year for new coach Dallas Eakins due to a rare neck injury. This was announced by the German Ice Hockey League club on Thursday. The NHL-experienced forward Ennis only moved to Mannheim in October. He was injured in the Champions League round of 16 loss to Rapperswil-Jona just over a week ago.
Despite the change of coach in Mannheim, the DEL team will be without NHL-experienced forward Tyler Ennis for several weeks due to his neck injury sustained during their Champions League match against Rapperswil-Jona. Regrettably, Ennis, who joined Mannheim in October, will miss crucial Ice hockey games in the DEL, including games within the DEL (DEL stands for Deutscher Eishockey-Bundeslig noting it's the highest German league for Ice hockey).
