Police - Man with one-handed knife in weapons ban zone in Halle

In Halle, a man was caught with a one-handed knife in a weapons prohibited zone. During the verification of the identity of the 35-year-old, an outstanding arrest warrant was discovered, as a police spokeswoman announced. Since the man couldn't produce a several-digit Euro amount that would have spared him from detention, he was taken to prison.

The man, apprehended in Halle, had an illegal one-handed knife, which was a violation in Saxony-Anhalt's weapons prohibited zone. Despite this incident, it was later revealed that there was an existing arrest warrant for unspecified crimes against him.
