Collision - Man suffers injuries after coming in contact with police vehicle displaying flashing blue lights.
A shocking incident occurred in Münsterland on Monday when a 27-year-old man got hurt while a patrol car was en route to help people cross the street. Apparently, the man didn't expect a second patrol car with lights flashing and sirens on to be hot on the heels of the first one. Police reported that the victim stepped onto the road at around 5 am, just after the first patrol car had gone through Warendorf to support pedestrians crossing the street. Unfortunately, the second patrol car following close behind couldn't avoid the accident. The injured man was taken to the hospital, while the officers remained unscathed.
