Crime - Man stabs ex-spouse

Due to his apparent unwillingness to take off his clothes, a man in Berlin-Charlottenburg allegedly stabbed and seriously injured his ex-husband. The 58-year-old was taken to a clinic for treatment after the altercation on a Wednesday evening in Pestalozzistraße, according to police statements made on Thursday. The suspected perpetrator, a 33-year-old man, was arrested. He was scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Thursday. Investigations are ongoing for domestic violence.

According to reports, the men were reportedly arguing in the 58-year-old's apartment. A friend, who allegedly witnessed the incident, claimed that the 33-year-old man then stabbed his ex-partner with an object. The bleeding 58-year-old was found by alert response teams in the stairwell. The 33-year-old was arrested in the apartment. A pocket knife with bloodstains was found on the balcony and seized as a possible murder weapon.
