A man allegedly stabbed a 26-year-old in the neck with the blade of a kitchen knife at Berlin's Gesundbrunnen station. The victim was severely injured, and the suspected attacker sustained minor hand injuries, according to federal police. The 28-year-old suspect was arrested following the incident on Thursday.

He is said to have drawn the kitchen knife after an argument. Witnesses held the suspect, as reported by federal police, until security company employees arrived and restrained him. The witnesses provided first aid to the severely injured man, who was later treated by emergency services and taken to a hospital.

The suspect was handed over to federal police, which initiated proceedings on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. He is to be brought before an examining judge.

The argument at Berlin's Gesundbrunnen station escalated into a violent crime, resulting in the man allegedly stabbing another individual. Due to the severe nature of the injuries, the incident has led to charges of causing dangerous bodily harm against the suspect.
