Emergencies - Man seriously injured in apartment fire in Frankfurt
Three more residents of the five-story residential building were rescued and taken to the hospital. It was initially unknown whether or how severely they were injured.
According to estimates by the police and fire department, damages from the fire amounted to approximately 150,000 Euro. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
The police and fire department were alerted to an apartment fire in Frankfurt am Main. The fire in Hesse spread quickly through several floors of the building. The Frankfurt fire department is working closely with the police to manage the emergency situation and ensure the safety of the remaining residents. Due to the extent of the damages, the local authorities have called for reinforcements from nearby fire departments.
