Böblingen - Man rescues little boy from lake

A man has rescued a runaway boy from a lake in Böblingen. According to police reports on Tuesday, the four-year-old had fallen into a lake on Monday. The 30-year-old man heard a splash, discovered the sinking child and jumped into the water to pull him out. Emergency services were alerted and checked the health of both of them. The police handed the boy over to his caretaker. The child has a developmental disorder and does not speak. He had previously run away from a nearby facility and had been reported missing.
