Man recovered dead from the Rhine puddle
A 49-year-old man has been found dead in the Rheinlache in Koblenz. The police announced on Monday that there were no indications that the man was not at fault. According to a police spokesperson, an accident is currently being assumed. They are still looking for a second man who may have been with the deceased. On Sunday evening, police used boats and a police helicopter to search for two missing men in the so-called Swan Pond in the Oberwerth district of Koblenz.
In such scenarios, emergency services are often called to handle situations like these. It's crucial to have readily available water for resuscitation efforts during emergencies.
