An injured 37-year-old man has died in hospital, probably after being shot by police in Bad Schwalbach in the Taunus region. This was announced by the public prosecutor's office in Wiesbaden and the Hessian State Office of Criminal Investigation (LKA) on Tuesday. Police officers had gone to a residential street on Friday evening following an emergency call "due to domestic violence". According to initial investigations, the police used firearms against the 37-year-old there. The man died of his injuries on Saturday. "Further investigations into the exact course of events are still ongoing. No further information on the facts of the case can be provided at present," added the public prosecutor's office and the LKA.
