A 46-year-old guy jumped onto a moving Intercity train in Bad Bentheim. He did this while it was leaving the station, at a speed of 140km/h, said the Federal Police. The guy was panicked because he'd forgotten his things on the train after taking a smoking break.

As the police officer noticed his dangerous move, she alerted the train staff, who stopped the train on an open stretch of tracks. The guy was then taken to Rheine station, where the Federal Police are looking into the incident.
