Würzburg - Man is trapped and dies in an accident at work

A 65-year-old man was trapped at work in Würzburg and died in hospital. The man was trapped between a package of steel goods and the steel struts behind it in a factory hall, the police announced on Tuesday. A work colleague noticed the package hanging askew on Monday and subsequently found the 65-year-old in distress. The fire department rescued the man with the help of air cushions and wedges. The 65-year-old died shortly afterwards in hospital. The criminal investigation department is investigating.
