After a recent acid attack on a man in Rosenheim, police have apprehended a 40-year-old suspect on suspicion of murder. He is currently detained for trying to kill, confirmed Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters on Wednesday.

On May 13th evening, a 31-year-old man suffered severe injuries in a multi-family house in Rosenheim due to an acid attack. The perpetrator, who wore a disguise, rang the doorbell and hurled acid into the man's face. The man's injuries were mainly concentrated in the eye area, necessitating urgent medical treatment at a clinic in Munich.

The criminal managed to escape without detection following the attack. However, after thorough research and detective work involving interviews with witnesses and neighbors, a 40-year-old German man is suspected of carrying out the crime. He voluntarily surrendered himself at his residential address, which is located in a village in the Landkreis Traunstein.

Authorities have suggested that the attack was likely motivated by a personal relationship matter. The inquiries and examinations to uncover the complete details are still ongoing.

The victim's health condition is critical at present. He will need to undergo more surgeries and live with the consequences of the injuries.
