A 20-year-old man who had been reported missing was discovered dead in the Weser river in Bremen on Friday. Authorities made this announcement on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, the police had informed the public that two men had probably jumped into the river in the eastern part of the city as part of a wager. One of the individuals, aged 30, was saved by emergency responders. Search and rescue crews, including police, firefighters, and a helicopter, went to great lengths to track down the younger male.
