Lower Bavaria - Man falls into stream: Missing man found with hypothermia
A man has been found with severe hypothermia in a stream near Patersdorf (Regen district) after he was reported missing on Sunday. The 70-year-old was taken to a clinic for initial treatment, as the police announced on Monday.
A neighbor heard cries for help from the forest and found the missing man, who had fallen into the stream. The man had reportedly gone out for a walk during the day and had not returned home by the evening. After the 70-year-old was not found near the house, the fire department, rescue service and mountain rescue service were called. A police helicopter, which was approaching, turned back after the discovery.
