Upper Bavaria - Man drives to the police with a blood alcohol level of two: driver's license taken away
A man drove to the police station in Freising with almost two per mille and lost his driver's license as a result. The 58-year-old actually wanted to talk to the officers about personal problems on Monday, the police said on Tuesday. An officer asked him how he had gotten to the station because of his alcohol fumes. The 58-year-old then honestly admitted that he was there by car.
A breath test revealed a level of almost two per mille. After a blood sample was taken, the 58-year-old's driver's license was confiscated for the time being. The officers then drove the drunk driver home. The 58-year-old now has to answer for drunk driving.
