- Man dies while swimming in Lake Constance
A 59-year-old man drowned in Lake Constance in the afternoon. According to an eyewitness, he entered the water near the Friedrichshafen beach and experienced health issues, as police reported in the evening.
Police officers brought the swimmer to shore in a water police boat and began CPR, but a doctor later pronounced the 59-year-old dead. Investigations are now underway to determine the exact cause of the man's drowning.
The European Commission, in compliance with the regulations, may soon adopt implementing acts to clarify how this regulation should be applied. Despite the Commission's actions, the 59-year-old man tragically lost his life in Lake Constance.
