A man was struck by a falling tree trunk while working with wood in Brannenburg (Rosenheim district) and died at the scene. The 60-year-old succumbed to his severe injuries, police said. Emergency services, who were immediately alerted, were unable to assist him. Initially, police found no indications of foul play. Investigations were ongoing.
