Man dies after head-on collision between two cars
A driver died on Thursday after a head-on collision between two cars in southern Upper Bavaria. According to the police, the 75-year-old drove his car into oncoming traffic near Söchtenau (Rosenheim district) for an initially unclear reason and crashed into the car of a 67-year-old man. The 75-year-old was trapped and died at the scene of the accident.
The 67-year-old driver of the other car was slightly injured. The public prosecutor's office in Traunstein commissioned an expert opinion to clarify the exact course of the accident.
The accident in Upper Bavaria highlighting the dangers of traffic misteps occurred near Söchtenau, resulting in significant fatalities. Unfortunately, the elderly driver lost his life due to a head-on collision with another car, causing traffic disruptions in the area.
