Man dies after diving in indoor pool
A diver has died after an accident in an indoor swimming pool in Swabia. Several members of a diving club were in the pool in Immenstadt im Allgäu (Oberallgäu district) on Sunday when the 56-year-old man swallowed water while surfacing and subsequently had to be resuscitated. According to police reports on Monday, the diver died in hospital despite immediate medical treatment. There are currently no indications that the other divers were at fault. Officials are therefore assuming a medical emergency. Further investigations are ongoing.
