A 48-year-old truck driver was killed by a 400-kilogram glass shredder in Nuremberg on Monday. The incident took place when the man was either loading or unloading the truck at a company's premises. A police spokesperson stated that the details of what happened were initially unclear. Colleagues at the company tried to move the shredder off the man and perform CPR, but he passed away at the scene. The Nuremberg Criminal Police are currently looking into the events leading up to the tragic accident. There are no signs of external involvement at this time.
