Crime - Man damages car and threatens police officers
A 38-year-old man is said to have damaged a car in Taunusstein (Rheingau-Taunus district) and threatened and insulted police officers. The man was drunk and threatened the officers with death, among other things, the police announced on Thursday. According to the police, they took the man into custody late on Wednesday evening in order to prevent further crimes. However, he was released again on Thursday morning. According to the police, he now faces charges of damage to property, threats and insulting behavior. The damage caused to the car amounts to around 1000 euros. The police are still looking for witnesses, they said.
