- Man critically injured - 17-year-old arrested

Following a knife attack in Stuttgart's city center during a dispute between two groups, police arrested a 17-year-old. The suspect is alleged to have attacked a five-person group in a back alley with two unknown men, according to police. A 37-year-old was seriously injured by stab wounds, while two men sustained minor injuries. A police spokesperson stated that the 37-year-old was fortunately no longer in critical condition on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old, along with the two other men, was in Stuttgart's city center on Tuesday evening when they got into a dispute with the five-person group on Königstraße for an unknown reason. The argument in a back alley escalated into the knife attack. Two women from the five-person group remained unharmed, according to police.

Police arrested the 17-year-old near the scene of the crime later that same evening. His two companions could not be located. The juvenile suspect was to be brought before a judge on Wednesday afternoon.

The motives behind the incident were initially unclear. There were no indications of a connection to organized crime in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Police were initially seeking witnesses.

The 17-year-old and some other men, including two unidentified individuals, were part of the groups involved in the dispute in Stuttgart's city center. Men and boys of different age groups were present during the incident on Königstraße.
