Esslingen district - Man crashes paraglider into trees

A 38-year-old man crashed with a paraglider and landed in trees near Neuffen ( Esslingen district). The man suffered moderate injuries in the flying accident on Sunday afternoon, as the police reported on Monday. For unknown reasons, the 38-year-old turned to the left after the start of the flight. The glider then collapsed.

The man, who was wearing protectors, crashed into the trees and, according to the police, called the mountain rescue service himself. They were able to free the injured man. The rescue service took the man to hospital.
