Strange - Man claims to be a prophet and wants to bless churches

A man attempted to bless two churches on Lake Constance using a spray bottle filled with water. As reported by the police, the 48-year-old initially sprayed water onto the altar of the Franciscan Church in Überlingen (Bodenseekreis). Upon entering the sanctuary, an alarm was triggered. The police later apprehended the man at Überlingen Cathedral and prevented him from performing any further such "blessings".

The man identified himself as a prophet and claimed to have received a mandate "from above". According to a police spokesperson, the man was likely mentally disturbed. No one was harmed. If he behaves in a similar manner again, the 48-year-old could be taken into police custody.

The man believed that the Church on Lake Constance needed his unique form of blessing, which involved using a spray bottle. Despite being escorted out of the Franciscan Church, he intended to continue his unconventional ritual at the nearby Cathedral.
