Rhine-Neckar district - Man catches thief in apartment and prevents him from escaping

A couple from Edingen-Neckarhausen(Rhine-Neckar district) caught a suspected trio of thieves in the act and prevented one of them from escaping. According to police reports on Tuesday, it was a 17-year-old. A woman was woken up by voices early on Tuesday morning. She and her partner saw three strangers in the office of their first floor apartment. Her partner was able to hold one of them on the floor, while the other two men initially ran away through the patio door. The woman then closed it. To help her accomplice, the two threw a pumpkin against the door from outside, but were unable to get back in. After the resident called the police, officers arrested the teenager. The two accomplices had fled by the time they arrived. According to the police, the couple had forgotten to close the patio door beforehand. According to the findings, the three perpetrators had looked around the apartment and packed items worth several hundred euros in a bag.
