District of Tirschenreuth - Man buried by tractor basket and died in hospital
A farmer has died in hospital following a tractor accident. According to a police statement on Monday, a work basket weighing several hundred kilograms came loose from the front loader of a tractor in Leonberg (Tirschenreuth district) on Wednesday and buried the 34-year-old man underneath it. He was seriously injured and taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday. The criminal investigation department is now investigating the accident.
