Police operation - Man bites policeman in the leg

A 21-year-old man bit a police officer in the leg during a control in Darmstadt. The officer was slightly injured, according to the Darmstadt police. He had been noticed on Tuesday morning because he was running through the city center with an axe in his hand. The alerted officers found out that there was a legally ordered weapons ban against this man - and took the axe away from him. The young man then approached the police officers, insulted them, and finally bit them. The officers took him to the station.

In response to the incident, South Hesse authorities launched a thorough police operation to locate the man's associates. The police operation, centered in Darmstadt, aimed to prevent any further crimes associated with this individual. Despite the man's aggressive behavior during the control, the police management praised their officers for maintaining restraint and ensuring the situation did not escalate further in Hesse.
