Berlin - Man beaten unconscious in Lichtenberg: group flees
A 31-year-old man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after being attacked by a group of five. As the police reported on Sunday, passers-by had called the emergency services at around 8.30 am the previous day. According to initial findings, the 31-year-old was involved in an argument with the group in Möllendorffstraße in Lichtenberg. When he tried to move on, one person from the group kicked him to the ground, headbutted him and punched him. The injured man was left motionless on the pavement and the group fled on foot in the direction of Frankfurter Allee, according to reports. Officers searched the area but did not find the perpetrators. The criminal investigation department is investigating.

The 31-year-old, who sustained a head injury in Lichtenberg, is currently under police investigation for any potential criminal involvement in the incident.
