Lübeck - Man attacks police officers during arrest
During an arrest, a 63-year-old man attacked a police officer in Lübeck. A patrol car crew visited the man in his home on Tuesday evening to execute an arrest warrant, as the police announced on Wednesday. The 63-year-old did not agree to the measures and suddenly punched a police officer in the face. A scuffle then reportedly broke out. The 63-year-old was brought to the ground and handcuffed. The police officer and the man were reportedly slightly injured.
The arrest warrant had been issued for a conviction relating to incitement to hatred and the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations. The 63-year-old now faces new criminal proceedings on suspicion of assaulting law enforcement officers.

The incident occurred in the city of Lübeck, which is located in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Due to the assault on the police officer, the 63-year-old is now facing additional criminal charges for attacking law enforcement officers.
