Kaiserslautern: Name of a German city - Man apprehended following incidents and pursuit
A man caused a series of accidents and led police on a chase in Kaiserslautern, resulting in one person getting hurt. Police said that on Saturday, the 45-year-old first wrecked several vehicles near Messeplatz. People saw him causing more destruction as he headed towards the Altstadt.
Cops eventually managed to apprehend the man after a brief pursuit. Unfortunately, a crash happened between the police car and his vehicle during the arrest, slightly injuring someone in the process. The driver was taken into custody, and authorities secured his driving license. They also ordered a blood test because there are reasons to think that the man had consumed intoxicating substances. Authorities will determine how much damage was caused in total. The public prosecutor has launched a criminal investigation against the driver.
