Apparently, feeling disturbed in his peace, a neighbor in Berlin-Hellersdorf is said to have thrown a paving stone at children playing nearby. The children were playing in the courtyard of an apartment block on Hellersdorfer Street on Wednesday afternoon, as the police reported. The 18-year-old is said to have initially become upset with the children and asked them to be quiet.

According to the police, the neighbor then allegedly insulted the children and threw the stone at them, injuring a 10-year-old on the hand. The 18-year-old was temporarily detained in his apartment. The boy was taken to his father. The police are now investigating the incident as a case of dangerous bodily harm.

The incident involving the neighbor has been classified as a case of potential criminal act by the police, considering it as an instance of dangerous bodily harm. Despite being asked to be quiet, the neighbor's anger escalated to the point of allegedly throwing a stone at the children, causing injury.
