Mallorca Incident: Terence Terrace Bar Was Unlicensed

The mayor stated that the operators possessed a permit for a music bar in the basement and a restaurant license for the ground floor. "There was no authorization for any activity on the first floor, and they weren't allowed to use the terrace," Llabres stressed.

The incident took place on the bustling Calle de Cartago beach promenade on a Thursday. Rescue services reported that the Medusa Beach Club unexpectedly crumbled, burying people primarily in the basement.
