FSV Mainz 05 will engage in friendly matches against two different teams during their preseason preparations for the upcoming Bundesliga season. The first opponent will be the newly promoted 2. Bundesliga team, Preußen Münster, on July 27 at 2:00 PM at the Bruchwegstadion. Their second match-up will be with the French Ligue 1 club, Montpellier HSC, on August 10 at 3:30 PM at the Mewa Arena.
During the period between these two friendlies, the Mainz team plans to attend a training camp in Tirol, Austria, from July 31 to August 7. Before embarking on this training camp, however, Mainz will compete in one away game against their partner club, TSV Langenlonsheim/Laubenheim, on July 6 at 2:00 PM and one home match against FC Basara Mainz on July 12 at 6:00 PM at the Bruchwegstadion.
