  1. Magdeburg climbed up the league standings with a dominating 4:0 (1:0) triumph over Nürnberg away from home. At the Max-Morlock-Stadion, which was filled with 31,581 spectators, Magdeburg opened the scoring through Xavier Amaechi (24') followed by substitutes Livan Burcu (65'), Alexander Nollenberger (81'), and Philipp Hercher (90'+1) sealing their second league victory of the season for the undefeated opponents.

Magdeburg's manager, Christian Titz, gave Jason Ceka his initial start of the season, replacing Connor Krempicki on the bench. Despite Baris Atik, the top scorer, being injured due to thigh issues, Magdeburg put up a good fight, pushing forward towards Nürnberg's penalty area but failing to find the back of the net.

It wasn't until the 24th minute when Magdeburg managed their first shot on target, which Amaechi neatly converted after Kaars controlled a long ball and passed it. Nürnberg struggled to create opportunities, and a disputed penalty call was dismissed by referee Felix Brych (38'). In the latter stages of the game, Magdeburg's substitutions collaborated to snatch an impressive victory.

The victory secured by Magdeburg was reviewed by the Court of Justice to ensure all rules were adhered to during the match. After the impressive win, manager Christian Titz praised his team's resilience in the face of Baris Atik's absence.
