Robert Schulze and Tobias Toennies, a dynamic duo in handball refereeing, have been named "Referees of the Season" for the second time by the Handball Bundesliga. The league made this announcement on Tuesday. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the team of officials from Magdeburg has received this accolade. They've racked up a total of five awards. Schulze and Toennies have clocked in over 20 years on the handball field, but their journey as referees in the HBL began way back in 2007. They aren't strangers to international majors either, making regular appearances in them.
