Macron warns Israel: destroying Hamas could take ten years of war
"The total destruction of Hamas, does anyone think that's possible?" Macron asked journalists. "If that is the goal, then the war will last ten years." There is even the danger of a "war without end", the French president warned.
Following the major attack by Hamas on 7 October, Israel declared war on the Islamist Palestinian organization and proclaimed its destruction as the goal of the massive military operation currently underway in the Gaza Strip.
