President Elected - Macron issues caution against extremism: Rallies for Europe's protection
Numerous individuals expressed their desire to remove funds from Europe while preserving the autonomy of the judiciary, press freedom, cultural diversity, and academic autonomy. "This is not a trend; it's a reality in Hungary. It has been a reality until the marvelous elections in Poland." Macron asserted that these concepts are thriving in our democracies, with encouragement from the extremists and the far-right.
Macron urged: "Wake up! Our Europe isn't a supermarket." Europe isn't solely a location where common rules are implemented. "It is a pillar of values, culture, personal and political freedoms." He reiterated the necessity of regaining the courage and motivation to protect it in the face of a negative wind and the extremists. In response to worries and reasons for frustration, one must respond with a Europe of respect.
