Numerous individuals expressed their desire to remove funds from Europe while preserving the autonomy of the judiciary, press freedom, cultural diversity, and academic autonomy. "This is not a trend; it's a reality in Hungary. It has been a reality until the marvelous elections in Poland." Macron asserted that these concepts are thriving in our democracies, with encouragement from the extremists and the far-right.

Macron urged: "Wake up! Our Europe isn't a supermarket." Europe isn't solely a location where common rules are implemented. "It is a pillar of values, culture, personal and political freedoms." He reiterated the necessity of regaining the courage and motivation to protect it in the face of a negative wind and the extremists. In response to worries and reasons for frustration, one must respond with a Europe of respect.
